Ever since the iPhone released, everybody’s been looking to topple the big dog with every touchscreen phone releasing therefore after hoping to earn the title of iPod Killer. None have really made a dent in the iPhone’s title as the quintessential and end all of be all touch-screen phones. However, if there’s anybody who’s going to make a run at it, we assume RIM will be firing on all cylinders with their upcoming release, the Blackberry Storm. Utilizing all of the functions that has made the smartphone maker so popular, RIM also looks to re-invent the touchscreen with their new “click-able” screen offering a level of tactile feel notably absent from any other phone maker. Some sources anticipate a November release with it being made exclusive only to the Verizon network.
